As I said in the video, I have been putting off making a video about brows – because brows are a different field of expression at the moment. Especially in Instagram – although they look fierce, only one eyebrow is shown 99% of the time.
So always make sure that if you do your brows, check yourself in the mirror to see that it is well balanced and it does not over power your face.
So here’s how I groom my brows – it’s relatively simple and natural.
In terms of color, I forgot to mention that do not use very light colored brow products on your eyebrows because it will not enhance then. You will look like you “lost” your brows – which in turn, might make you look older than you actually are.
The products I used in this video are:
MAC Eye Brows in Brunette – what I am using is an old stock because I actually buy multiples. The one I am using on the video is no longer in production but it has evolved into the MAC Eye Brows Styler. It now has a spoolie attached at the other end.
K Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow 24h in Grayish Brown (02)
The Spoolie is from the Japanese brush maker Mizuho.
Maybelline Lash Discovery Mini-Brush Waterproof (Black)
I wasn’t wearing any makeup in the video, but just my regular skin care regimen and sunscreen.

The products I am using has worked for me and it might not necessarily work for you. Always be discerning when purchasing cosmetics or skin care products. Always read the label and the literature! Always do a patch test before you purchase a product for the first time to see that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
This video/post is not sponsored. The products that are shown here are the products that I always use, love and live by.
The videos and pictures were shot using an Iphone 11.

Wow! Great information. My hair is dark brown. My eyes are a deep golden brown. Through much trial and error I find that a dark brownish grey works best. To keep my brows in place I use a clear gel. As always, thank you for sharing your expertise.
Thank you Jan! I actually prefer to use that color too when working on most people because it can be quite universal. I also used to use clear gel to keep them in place, but sometimes they weigh my brows down. Now it’s just mascara or a clear brow coat – a kind of sealant that keeps your brows in pace and makes the eyebrow product you are using waterproof. 🙂 if you are interested you can read my old blog about it here: https://tortorre.me/2016/07/30/browlash-ex-eyebrow-coat/
