Tor Torre is a Makeup Artist based in Manila. He initially trained at the London Academy of Media Film and TV under the tutelage of British makeup artist Oriona Gryzb – Robb.
Upon returning to Asia, his first jobs brought him to Ho Chi Minh and Manila doing TV commercials. Eventually, he was invited by premier Filipino makeup artist, Patrick Rosas, to join PRAT – Patrick Rosas Artistic Team. This lead him to the world of fashion shows working for top Filipino designers such as Inno Sotto, Bea Valdez, Josie Natori, JC Buendia, Ito Curata, Cary Santiago and Michael Cinco just to name a few.
By 2009, Tor concentrated on pursuing his career in the field of Television and Commercials.
Aside from working on various productions for the South East Asian Region, he was also the makeup artist of Christine Jacob – Sandejas for TV show Full Time Moms on Qtv which was co-hosted by Suzi Entrata – Abrera.
On August 2012, he went to New York and sought further training in makeup artistry at the Makeup Designory Soho Campus under the guidance of American makeup and special effects artist Merideth Haring.
Today, Tor still continues to work on TV commercials, TV shows and fashion shows. He just ended his stint as the makeup artist of host Iya Villania – Arellano on the TV Magazine show MARS Pa More that aired on GMA 7.
Tor is currently brand ambassador of Filipino global skin care and cosmetics company VMV Hypoallergenics.
