So glad I was able to make it to Fude Matsuri 2025! This was not planned and it became a “last minute” trip. so glad I was able to meet up with fellow Fude lovers!

Glad that I was also able to experience the opening ceremony despite the rain! The highlight of this all was the opportunity to have an audience with Master Yoshiki of Koyudo. A huge “Thank You” to Fude Bobo who made this happen.

Routes:

Bus:

From Hiroshima Station to Sakakiyama Shrine take: Bus 40-12 bound for Kumano Hagiwara Shako-mae and go down in Nakamizo (https://maps.app.goo.gl/wmLqE4irkTqsQKcSA)

From Yano Station to Sakakiyama Shrine take the same bus 40-12 or Bus 3-2. Go down at Nakamizo.

Bus no 40-13 passes by Yano Station, this is the bus you’ll take if you want to go to the brush museum, Fudenosato Kobo, first. Go down at Kumano Nakasuji.

Train:

Take the local train bound for Hiro from Hiroshima Station and go down Yano station. Then connect to a bus as stated above.
