If you are reading this post, most likely we are sharing the love of Fude.
I do not consider myself to be someone who has extensive knowledge of Fude. All I do is to share in my enthusiasm, appreciation and experience with them. If there are some details or information you might need, there are two people who I know are more knowledgable and is well connected to the Kumano Fude community, feel free to reach out to Sonia G through her blog page, https://sweetmakeuptemptations.com/ or Instagram page: @sweetmakeuptemptations or Fude Bobo through her website: https://fudebobo.com/ or Instagram page: @baiyutang11. I’m sure they will be happy to connect with you.
In this post, I am sharing the Google Map Pins of most of the Kuman Fude Brands that I know. Maybe the reason why you are here is because as a Fude lover, you are heading to Hiroshima and you are wanting to visit the heart of Kumano Fude. Although I have done a number of vlogs about my time in Kumano, especially during Fude Matsuri, I know not every one has the time to watch every single vlog (Watch my playlist here). I am hoping that a list of my Google map pins will prove helpful on your visit to Hiroshima.
Route:
From Hiroshima Station to Sakakiyama Shrine take:
Option 1: Take Bus 40-12 bound for Kumano Hagiwara Shako-mae and go down in Nakamizo (https://maps.app.goo.gl/wmLqE4irkTqsQKcSA)
Option 2: Take the Kure Line Train bound for Hiro and go down Yano Station.
From Yano Station to Sakakiyama Shrine take the same bus 40-12 or Bus 3-2. Go down at Nakamizo.
Bus no 40-13 passes by Yano Station, this is the bus you’ll take if you want to go to the brush museum, Fudenosato Kobo, first. Go down at Kumano Nakasuji.

If you don’t have much time and can’t visit some brush manufacturers and if you want a “one stop” shop that sells Kumano Fude, it is here.
Chikuhodo, Tanseido and Takeda are within close proximity of the museum.
There are no buses that would take you directly to the museum. It’s a relatively short walk from the bus stop.
There are also some brushes for sale in some stores in Hiroshima Station.
