I have a bit of good news to share!
I am now a brand ambassador for the Global Filipino skin care and cosmetics line, VMV Hypoallergenics.

My first experience with VMV was when I was a high school student (circa 1997-98), this was the time my friends and I were starting to experiment with makeup. I was walking at the local department store in Cebu City when I spotted VMV’s counter. I was initially attracted to their packaging, it was white and rectangular. Easy to use and easy to hide in my back pack.
I lost touch with the brand over the years especially during my days as a pageant queen (read as drag queen) and when other international brands started coming into the country.
My relationship with VMV Hypoallergenics was rekindled in 2012 when I received a phone call from a friend who was at that time working for VMV. Helen told me that they had a project in the works and they wanted me to come in to talk about the said project. I went to their office and met with the marketing team, the creative team and the CEO/Creative Director, Laura. We talked about different looks, skin care, lots of makeup, icons… anything under the cosmeceutical universe. I left that meeting as if I just had dinner with good friends. Light and bubbly. Two weeks later, I was hired to be the makeup artist for their advertising materials.
This was the time when I started to get to know a wide array of skin care and makeup products that today has proven to be an integral part of my bathroom counter and makeup kit.
Since then, VMV Hypoallergenics has supported me as my skincare sponsor for a makeup workshop that I created called FACE The Possibilities (click to learn more). In early 2015 my team and I shot once again for VMV’s in-store and online promotional materials that you can currently see today.
